Coming Home Release Party
What do you do when you have been gone from the United States for over 6 months? You go to a "Coming Home" party of course. This one was not for me specifically but it will do in a pinch. Plus there was no better welcome home then the surprised looks on Carmen Hart and jessica drake's faces when they saw me for the first time. The hugs and kisses were not half bad either.
As you walk past the dunk tank and ring toss booth towards the rock wall you get the impression that this is not your average adult industry party. With hourly raffles and proceeds being donated to local veterans charities then, you are probably right.
Everything from Wicked coolers, to a vintage bicycle, to a very large gas grill was given away as the night progressed. At one point one winner requested her prize be the shirt off jessica drake's back and she gave it up with a smile. I tried to get jessica to donate her bra to the next winner but unfortunately Miss drake's charity did indeed have limits.
The night got even more interesting when the first dunk tank victim is ready to take their seat. You are probably assuming one of the many lovely ladies in attendance would take up this challenge and you would be wrong. The first dunk tank victim is none other than industry scribe Luke Ford. Needless to say to know Luke is to usually dislike Luke so people line up for a chance to put him in the water. At one point Kirsten Price and Randy Spears even cheat in order to make sure he goes in the water. Later in the evening Brad Armstrong climbed on in for his turn. For some reason almost the entire time he was in the tank there was one of the Wicked girls in attendance standing by to throw balls at him. A few of them actually even went near the target. And for the record, yes, Carmen and jessica do indeed throw like girls.
The "lovely" Olivia O'Lovely was the only industry woman I saw brave the rock wall. Unfortunately she did not make it all the way up. But made up for it a few minutes later by revealing her hidden talent at ring toss. Where she totally ruled!
Before the night was over you were rubbing elbows with the likes of August, Ryder Skye, Kaylani Lei, Brooke Haven, Devon Lee, Mia Smiles, Jessica Shaw, Brandi Edwards, Nautica Thorn, Luscious Lopez, Lexi L'Amour and Christina Aguchi.
