What are you going to do when someone brings you one to sign?

Daisy Marie - I will sign it. I also have my own line of vibrators that will be coming out. Let's see what else is coming out...Oh my movie actually has just come out. It is called Driving Ms. Daisy . It is a feature and it is with Tyler Knight. That movie was good. I really liked doing it. There was a point where I stopped doing interracial because of my family. Some of them were finding out and were having issues with it. But now I am just like, forget them, this is about me and I don't care what they say. Because I was feeling uncomfortable not doing it since my first movie was with a black guy and I am very VERY proud of that.

Tell me about your tattoo, the one on your back.

Daisy Marie - It is a cherub. It just basically ...I mean I love angels. My whole apartment is full of angels, my bathroom set is angels. I have angel moldings everywhere. They are like my guardian angels. I got that tattoo, three years ago. My ex, ex-boyfriend did that for me. It just stands for my guardian angel. No matter where I go I have him watching over me.

What other tattoos do you have?

Daisy Marie - I have on my stomach under my belly I have a heart with wings, on my crotch area I have one that says "caution slippery when wet". On my left ankle I have my mothers name.

Why tattoos?

Daisy Marie - I don't know. I guess it was just me living in East L. A. My brother and my sister would get one and say "look at my tattoo" and then I would just have to get one. I kind of went overboard with my angel because I actually wanted it to be a lot smaller but since my ex-boyfriend was a tattoo artist he just went wild. We were supposed to go to conventions for it.

Is it finished?

Daisy Marie - No, it still has work to do. There is 8 hours of work on my back right now.

Are you going to finish it?

Daisy Marie - Well eventually I will finish it but now that I am under contract I have to get permission to have any alterations done to my body. But a lot of people ask me about it and I do mean a lot. It is not like I can hide it. It is very noticeable.

I saw that at least one reviewer reacted rather strongly to your cherub tattoo. How do you respond to people who make statements like "It is like a mustache on the Mona Lisa"?

Daisy Marie - Who made that statement?

I would have to look that up, I honestly don't remember.

Daisy Marie - There is nothing I can say really because every one is their own person and they like what they like. He is just different. He is a different person and there is nothing I can say that will change that. I like tattoos. When I see a person with one I want to see what it is. But there is nothing I can say really, if that is the way he feels then that is fine with me.

Pretty much every movie of yours that I know of is of the gonzo variety. Is there a reason for that?

Daisy Marie - Actually I did shoot a lot of gonzo movies. I think I did shoot one feature movie for another company but I don't remember what it was called. Basically I was just working a lot. People would call and say we have a movie for you and I would say "okay". That is basically it. I did do a lot of gonzo movies and I didn't shoot for a lot of the major companies because of things like my tattoo.

Do you want to do more features?

Daisy Marie - Now that I am under contract I will be doing feature movies only.

How does the acting sit with you?

Daisy Marie - You know what I never did any kind of acting. When they sit the script in front of me I just read it the way it comes our. I am a laid back person so I just do it. I guess it comes out good because I haven't had any complaints.

Do you think that it is hard for an ethnic woman to succeed in this business?

Daisy Marie - You know what I have never thought about it. I have not seen very many Mexican's in the industry. But I don't know. I hope it won't be hard for me but I will be up there. I know I will. I am pushing because if I am going to go this far I am going to go all the way.

What are your plans for the industry?

Daisy Marie - I want to some day start my own company and/or shoot my own product or my own modeling agency maybe. But for the next couple of years I think this is what I will stick to. Cause porn never dies.

What projects have you done recently and what do you have coming up?

Daisy Marie - I did not shoot anything for about 3 months before my contract so I don't have a lot. But I do have some stuff out there that is popular that I keep getting asked about it on the street and they are Mamacitas #2 and No Man's Land Latin Edition 3 that I did with Ramona Luv. They are both very popular and both very actually done with Video Team.

What have you learned since coming into the adult industry that you wish you had known from the start and why?

Daisy Marie - Actually I haven't had that many bad experiences but I have come to meet some people who are very cruel and have no respect for women. It is hard for a woman and for someone to ...I mean to go to a shoot where the producer or directors are just straight ass-holes. They are like do you think you are good enough for porn. And it isn't just the down talk. Some companies ask for too much for not the right price. Or I have actually gotten ripped off after working for companies for a whole day and then never gotten a check or the check bounced. So now I know who the good companies are and who are not.

Who do you admire and why? Not necessarily in adult.

Daisy Marie - The one person I admire is in porn and that is Jenna Jameson. I have worked for her before and she is so cool. She was nothing like I expected her to be. I have seen her movies. She is beautiful; she is a very beautiful woman. And the way she has succeeded in this business is the way I want to be. She was very, very cool. The very first day I worked for her she requested for me to work for her again. I mean she is really up there and for her to give me that chance to be in her movie really meant a lot.

Give me three things you think you can't live without?

Daisy Marie - One of course is sex. You should have just started writing the second you asked the question. I can't live without sex, my family (of course, love to all my family). I guess there are only two things. Money I could live without but there is the need for money.

Those are pretty good answers most people say things like my lap top, my cell phone, etc.

Daisy Marie - Oh you can put that. Put my cell phone because I don't have one right now and I am going crazy.

Happiness is..

Daisy Marie - That is a hard one. I don't know ...I mean I do know. Happiness is just being happy with what you are doing. Being successful, being pleased with your life. Happiness is just ...contentment. You know when you are happy. You wake up every morning with a smile on your face.

Give me 5 words that describe you as a person.

Daisy Marie - Outgoing, laid back, very friendly. I am very helpful. I am a very giving person. I am not...you can't get me mad. You can do the worst possible things to me and I can't hold a grudge.

What impression do you like to leave fans with when they meet you?

Daisy Marie - I want them to see that what you see is what you get. That I am not the type of person to front. I am just the way I am.
