You said your first act as Queen would be to declare yourself King. Why the gender distinction? Isn't a ruler a ruler no matter what their title or gender?

Asia Carrera - Because if I were “Queen of the World”, that would imply that a man could come and usurp my power by marrying me! However, if I am the KING, then that would make him the QUEEN, and I would not feel too threatened by a guy known as a QUEEN. HAHAHA!!

Asia Carrera - Geeky, quirky, intelligent, ambitious, independent

How did someone with telephonophobia function in a pre e-mail society?

Asia Carrera - My phobia of the phone did not become complete until I had email available as an alternate method of communication, thankfully!

TV is a waste of time but video gaming is not? Please explain.

Asia Carrera - Gaming is therapeutic for me! Because I am so timid and shy in real life, it is nice to come home and slip into my “megabitchgoddess” alter ego and kick some butt online! Plus I enjoy designing my own bot-skins and sound packs, and maybe one day I will have the time to learn map-making as well. And being a part of the gaming community has made my name visible to legions of young, single guys, which is not necessarily a bad thing, when you handle your own P.R.

I have a photography book entitled "Women Before 10am" which is a collection of photographs of famous women when they are just getting up. What would a picture of Asia before 10am look like?

Asia Before Noon

Asia Carrera - I do not wake up until noon at the earliest!

In your bio on Adult DVD Empire they refer to you as "one of the most beloved adult actresses of all time". What does that mean to you?

Asia Carrera - Ummm… I give up. You tell me! LOL!

You taught English in Japan when you were 16. What were your impressions of Japanese society, especially in their treatment of women?

Asia Carrera - Ugh! No makeup, no jewelry, no jeans, hair tied back every day! And I had to wash dishes while my male cousins watched tv! I was so homesick…

What does it feel like to have an Academy Award winning actor ask you for a photograph?

Asia Carrera - LOL. It freaked me out! Bigtime! I walked around for the rest of the day with a big goofy grin on my face, because I just could not believe it!

I could have sworn there was an intro with Ed Powers on the VHS of “A is for Asia” that is not on the DVD. Am I losing my mind? If not, why was it cut?

Asia Carrera - Because I did not own the rights to the Ed Powers intro scene. Ed donated the scene to my movie because he was distributing the VHS title for me, but when it came time for the DVD release, I took the title over to Nutech Digital, and then I had to leave off the Ed Powers intro.

Was your “look at me when I am talking to you bitch” line from the Euphoria Easter eggs a look at a very tired and cranky Asia or just a joke?

Asia Carrera - I have no idea what you are talking about, but it had to have been a joke, because I have never called anyone a bitch in seriousness in my entire life. I am socially phobic, and I am terrified of people being mean to me. So if someone is mean to me I will either cry or hide, but never, NEVER have I ever retaliated in any way shape or form! that is just not me.

Is it nice to play a more aggressive person in a movie since you are not that way in person?

Asia Carrera - Yep! that is also why I enjoy gaming so much. Same thing.

Could your movies be a way of expressing a part of yourself that you would not normally have gotten the chance to due to your fear of social interactions?

Asia Carrera - Yes, that is exactly why I love acting so much, and why I am able to slip into other characters so easily. it is the only time I can say or do anything without fear of consequences, because it is not really ME saying the lines!

This industry has gotten a lot more hard edged then it was when you first started doing movies. Would you still come in the industry today? Why or why not.

Asia Carrera - I do not think the Vivid, Wicked, or VCA product is that much harder than it was when I started, actually, it is LESS hardcore, with the condoms-only phase they went through. And I do not work for the gonzos, or “Extreme” productions out there, so I am not really the one to ask on that!

What is your take on “forced sex” scenarios in movies?

Asia Carrera - I do not care for it at all. It gives our industry a bad name.

Why is it okay to show a person being hit for the purpose of causing pain but not okay to show it as foreplay before sex?

Asia Carrera - I do not know. I used to enjoy being punched in the arm really hard. The feeling would spread throughout me in a way similar to an orgasm, only this could be done in public! But I had to give up the habit ‘cause the bruises it would leave did not go over too well on camera, y’know? LOL!!

Halle Berry or Angelina Jolie? Which would you prefer and why?

Asia Carrera - Oh Angelina!! She is SOOOO yummy!! I drooled over her in “Tomb Raider”, and I am looking forward to doing it again when the next one comes out! Plus, she is bisexual! What more could you want?? Mmmmm….

What is your favorite word?

Asia Carrera - Huggle. it is a smooch, a cuddle and a hug rolled into one!

What is your least favorite word?

Asia Carrera - The C-word. (Ugh, I can not even say it!)

Asia Carrera - Felchin’ Waffles! (I love the word felch, although I do not care for the definition, really) If you say felchin’ waffles out loud, it rhymes with Belgian Waffles! I do not curse much really. I say felch, crap, and cripeys a lot.

What profession would you like to attempt other than your own?

Asia Carrera - Scientist, explorer, discoverer, anything where I can learn new things, because I'm a knowledge junky!

What profession would you not like to participate in?

Asia Carrera - Sanitation engineer comes to mind, or anything else that is purely physical labor and has nothing for the mind.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

Asia Carrera - “So, let me see you deny my existence NOW, bitch!!” ROFLMAO!!!
